This appeal arises from an order of the circuit court granting defendant Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority’s (MPEA) motion for summary judgment. On January 7, 1999, International Memory Products (IMP) filed a second amended complaint against Graphic Arts Show Company, Inc., MPEA and The Freeman Companies (Freeman). IMP alleged that on or about August 30, 1997, IMP began constructing a booth at the “Print 97” show.
