We briefly note Rick argues on cross-appeal that the dis- trict court lacked personal jurisdiction over Ryan and that, so, any rulings as to Ryan were void.45 All the parties agree on this point, as do we, though it seems to us that the court’s observations as to Ryan were simply incidental to determin- ing whether Rick was covered under the policy.
