The plaintiffs-appellants Douglas Allen (Allen) and his wife brought this action against Allen’s former employer, Southwest Salt Company (Southwest) and its president, Gerald Grott (Grott) and his wife, appellees, to recover for personal injuries received in the course of employment. Appellants contend that they are entitled to prosecute a claim for “intentional tort” notwithstanding the exclusive remedy provision of A.R.S. § 23-1022(A) and Allen’s receipt of workers’ compensation benefits.
