A Marion County jury found Michael Wesley Searcy guilty of the murder of Kenneth Foster and assessed punishment at sixty years’ imprisonment. On appeal, Searcy raises three points of error. We affirm.

I. FACTUAL BACKGROUND

An ongoing feud 1 between Searcy and Foster culminated in a confrontation Oeto- ber 11, 2005. In Smithland, there is a tree between a local convenience store and a trailer park under which Mends and neighbors gather and play dominoes.
