After a jury trial, appellant, Sean Allen (Allen), was convicted of one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (UUV), D.C.Code § 22-3815 (1989), one count of possession of an unregistered firearm, id. § 6-2311 (1994 Supp.), and one count of possession of ammunition, id. § 6-2361 (1989).
