This action, in so far as the present appeal is concerned, involves a contest solely between the plaintiff and the defendant W. E. Schonbein, each of whom claims a superior right to a specific fund which represents the balance due and owing on a contract wherein Roy J. Burney, the principal defendant in the suit below, had agreed to alter and repair a certain dwelling house owned by the garnishee defendant Home Owners’ Loan Corporation.
