OPINION

O’BRIEN, Special Justice.

This defendant was convicted of murder in the perpetration of armed robbery and sentenced to death. On direct appeal this Court affirmed defendant’s conviction and remanded the case for resentencing because of erroneous jury instructions.1

The resentencing hearing was conducted in June, 1989. The jury returned a death verdict based upon its finding of three (3) aggravating circumstances, Tenn.Code Ann. § 39-*5772-203(i)(2), (5), and (7) (1982). The case is now before us on appeal from that judgment.
