Appellee, the Crystal Lake Park District, filed in the McHenry county court its petition praying that just compe.nsation to be paid for 26.85 acres of land to be acquired for a park for the use and benefit of the public should be ascertained. The appellants, the Consumers Company, as owner of the fee, and trustees under trust deeds securing incumbrances upon the property, were made defendants, together with the city of Crystal Lake and Michael Fitzgerald, tenant of a portion of the property.
