Presently before the court is an application by plaintiffs attorney pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 406(b) for $10,203.50 in attorneys’ fees, amounting to 25 percent of the past-due Social Security Disability Insurance (“SSDI”) benefits awarded to his client by the Commissioner of Social Security (the “Commissioner”).
