This is an action for damages for personal injuries. Plaintiff recovered a verdict and judgment in the sum of $7400 and defendant has appealed.

The facts show that on November 27, 1919, plaintiff, a woman thirty-nine years of age, was riding with her husband and others in a Ford automobile, going in a southwesterly direction on Southwest Boulevard near its intersection with Broadway, both being public streets in Kansas City, Missouri.
