OPINION OF THE COURT

EVERETT, Chief Judge:

A general court-martial composed of officers tried appellant in Schweinfurt, Federal Republic of Germany, on a charge of attempted robbery, in violation of Article 80, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 880. Williams pleaded guilty to the lesser-included offense of assault and battery but was found guilty as charged. The sentence adjudged was a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 1 year, and total forfeitures.
