A general court-martial composed of officer members convicted appellant, pursuant to mixed pleas, of making a false official statement (3 specifications), writing bad checks (2 specifications), bigamy, and impeding an investigation, in violation of Articles 107 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 907 and 934, respectively. Appellant was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge and reduction to the grade of E-l. The convening authority approved the sentence as adjudged.
