In this action arising from the suicide of their son, plaintiffs, James English and Linda English, appeal the judgment dismissing their complaint against defendant, Tiffany Griffith, for failure to state a claim for relief. We affirm.

Plaintiffs commenced this action as the sole surviving heirs of their son (the decedent). The amended complaint alleged that defendant "knew that [the decedent] was susceptible to emotional distress because of his multiple sclerosis, depression and suicidal thoughts."
