Appellants sued the Quanah, Acme & Pacific Railway Company, the Denver City Railway Company, Houston & Texas Central Railway Company, St. Louis, Brownsville & Mexico Railway Company, and Frank Adams, its receiver, Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway Company, and Harris Bros. Grain Company, for the sum of $304.50, the alleged value of a shipment of maize from Paducah, Tex., to Heyser, Tex.
