Plaintiff Jerold Rawson "filed this class action under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”), alleging that defendant Source sent him, and two classes of similarly situated individuals, a letter that violated the statute in two respects. In Count I of his class complaint,1 plaintiff claims that the letter unlawfully failed to identify the current owner of the recipient’s alleged debt.
