Francis Garcia brings this action pursuant to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1132(a)(1)(B), to recover benefits allegedly due to him under the terms of the Raytheon Long Term Disability Plan (the “Plan”). Garcia alleges that the decision of defendant Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (“MetLife”), the claims administrator under the Plan, to terminate his disability benefits was arbitrary and capricious.
