This case comes here on a writ of error from the Supreme Court of the Territory of Wisconsin, the premises in controversy w.ere formerly owned by one Peter Grignon, to whom they were confirmed by an act of Congress, passed 21st February, 1823, to be found in 3 Story’s Laws, 1877. He died in March following, intestate, indebted, and leaving two sons who are lessors of the plaintiff, one born, in 1803, the other in 1806.
