Defendant Michael D. Johnson appeals his convictions and sentences for distributing cocaine and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon on the following grounds: the fruits of a warrantless search should have been suppressed because the officers violated the knock-and-announce rule; the district court erred in admitting opinion testimony by a police officer that the defendant was engaged in drug trafficking; and the district court failed to provide any explanation for the defendant’s sentence.
