MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

DE MENT, District Judge.

This case is before the court on appeal from the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Alabama (“Bankruptcy Court”). Rebecca S. Cameron (“Ms. Cameron”) appeals the August 25, 1998 final judgment of the Bankruptcy Court in which the Bankruptcy Court found that a judgment issued under a divorce decree requiring Ellis Elliott Cameron, Jr. (“Debtor”) to pay an outstanding debt to General Motors Acceptance Corporation (“GMAC”) was not excepted from discharge under 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(15).
