Plaintiff Mary Burman (“Burman”) contracted to pay the defendant, Pella Windows, Inc. (“Pella”), $37,056.00 to supply and install windows at the home that she held in her name and occupied with her husband. She paid $17,000.00 at the outset and has paid nothing since. During the installation, Burman complained that the windows were defective in many respects and were being improperly installed.
