Error to Monroe; Lockwood, J. Assumpsit by the First National Bank against the Union Trust Company, receiver of the City Savings Bank, for the amount of a certified check. A judgment for plaintiff is reviewed by defendant on writ of error.

Plaintiff recovered a judgment in this suit brought by it against the City Savings Bank of Detroit upon the certification of a check for the sum of $175,-662.50 drawn on defendant bank by Frank C. Andrews payable to plaintiff. Frank C. Andrews was a heavy customer of plaintiff bank. He dealt largely in stocks and bonds upon the New York and eastern markets through his brokers in Detroit, Cameron Currie & Co.
