Plaintiff Cornell Herbert (“Herbert”), an African American, brings this action against his current employer, the Architect of the Capitol (the “AOC”), claiming that he was discriminated and retaliated against in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”) and the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 (the “CAA”).
