This is an action of tort to recover compensation for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff and for damage to her automobile which she was operating, as a result of a collision with an automobile operated by the defendant. The judge of the District Court found for the plaintiff, and found specifically that the defendant was negligent and that the plaintiff was not guilty of contributory negligence.
