In this action plaintiff seeks to recover from defendant insurance company under the disability clause contained in the policy of life insurance which it issued to him. His disability results from wounds self-inflicted in an attempt to commit suicide. The court below denied recovery by entering judgment in defendant’s favor notwithstanding a verdict for plaintiff and he appeals.

The clause upon which recovery is claimed reads thus: “If the insured, before attaining the age of sixty-five years, provided premiums have been duly paid and this policy is then in full…
