On January 13, 1894, defendant issued to plaintiff, on the life of her husband, Louis Morris, a policy of insurance, in the sum of $25,000; the term of the policy was twenty-seven j^ears; the annual premium, $1,305. The husband died on March 29, 1894; his widow made due proof of his death as required by the policy, and made demand on the company for the amount of the insurance. The company refused payment: 1.
