By the Court. The indictment charges the offence to have been committed in the County of Hennepin. The proof shows that it was committed on board of a steamboat while navigating the Minnesota river, and while the boat was in that part of the river which forms the boundary line of Hennepin county. This clearly brings the- case within that part of Section 89, page 761 of the Compiled Statutes, which provides that “ When any offence shall 'have been committed within this Territory, (State) on board of any vessel navigating any river or lake, an indictment for the same may be found in any county…
