STILLEY, Justice.

The appellant was convicted of possession . of a controlled substance, ■ methamphetamine. The jury assessed punishment at five years confinement. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.

Evidence adduced at a pre-trial hearing on a motion to suppress revealed that at approximately 9:30 p. m. on March 24,1979, appellant was arrested in an apartment parking lot in Houston, Texas. The two arresting officers, J. W. Clinton and J. W.
