MEMORANDUM OPINION

OREN HARRIS, Chief Judge.

The defendants, E. C. K. Chivers & Associates, Lums, Inc., dba “Lums”, and Centaur Enterprises, Inc., dba “Lums”, have filed separate motions to quash service of summons and to dismiss the complaint on the ground that the court is without personal jurisdiction. The threshold question presented by the motions is the construction and application of the Arkansas statute referred to as the Uniform Interstate and International Procedure Act adopted by the General Assembly of Arkansas, Act 101 of 1963, Ark.Stat.Ann.
