WEST, J.
The petitioner, Anthony E. James, appeals from the judgment of the habeas court denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. On appeal, the petitioner claims that the court improperly concluded that he was not prejudiced by the failure of his trial counsel to object to the admission of certified copies of the petitioner’s previous arrest records during the prosecution’s rebuttal case at his criminal trial.
