Plaintiff, as the owner and lessor of a chartered airplane, brought this action against five named defendants for damages for the wrecking and loss of his airplane by virtue of the claimed negligence of defendant Beals, the pilot.
Defendants answered the complaint, denied generally the allegations thereof and alleged negligence on the part of the plaintiff in furnishing Beals an airplane with faulty brakes. Defendant Tarvin, who was injured in the accident, filed a cross-complaint against plaintiff seeking damages by reason of the claimed negligence of plaintiff. The jury found against…
