Clarke, P. J.:

The respondent was admitted to the bar in July, 1897.

The petition charges that in June, 1909, a separation agreement was entered into between Finn L. Fossume and his wife, Anna Thrane Fossume, the respondent acting as attorney for the husband. In the fall of 1909 the respondent told Fossume that Fossume ought to have an absolute divorce; that Mrs. Fossume was agreeable to it and that the respondent would arrange the divorce without any publicity and procure it within six months for $2,500, which would include all expenses.
