MEMORANDUM OPINION

BLACKWELL N. SHELLEY, Bankruptcy Judge.

This matter comes before the Court on certain “Objections to Exemptions,” filed by a creditor, Federal Employees Credit Union of Petersburg, Inc. (“Credit Union”). The Credit Union seeks the denial of certain exemptions claimed by the debtor, Patrice M. Johnson, pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 522 and Virginia Code §§ 34r4 and 34-26. This is a core proceeding, over which this Court has jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 157(b)(2)(B) and 1334. Venue is proper pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1409.
