Discussion
In the month of February of 1941 there occurred explosions of illuminating gas in the vicinity of the 1100 block on Greenwich Street, in the City of Philadelphia, as the result of which several persons lost their lives- and others sustained personal injuries and property damage. There have been instituted more than 60 suits in trespass wherein more than 150 claimants allege to have been injured or damaged as the result of the explosions.
