The merchandise involved herein was described on the invoice as olives in brine, grown in Messenia, manufactured by Calogeropoulos & Sons of Kalamata. It was imported from Greece on or about January 14, 1950, and was entered as “black olives in brine.” Duty was assessed by the collector at the rate of 5 *290cents per pound under the provision, in paragraph 744 of the Tariff Act of 1930 for olives, not specially provided for.
