LAVERY, J.

The defendant appeals from the judgment rendered for the plaintiff after a trial by jury in a case involving a fall in a supermarket. The defendant claims that the trial court improperly (1) failed to instruct the jury that the plaintiff was required to prove that the defendant had actual or constructive notice of the specific defect and also had sufficient time to remedy the defect, (2) limited the defendant’s cross-examination of the plaintiffs expert witness, (3) precluded the defendant from questioning the plaintiff about the resolution of a previous action involving the…
