PITTMAN, Judge.

This is an appeal from the trial court’s dismissal, with prejudice, of an action seeking an adjudication of paternity and child support.

On June 9, 1999, the State, on behalf of S.M., filed a petition in the juvenile court seeking an adjudication of paternity and child support. On September 30, 1999, the juvenile court entered a default judgment against the putative father, establishing paternity and ordering child support.
