Nichols, Judge:
The merchandise involved in these cases, consolidated at the trial, described on the entries as marble flooring tiles, polished, not over 1 inch thick, was imported from Italy and entered at the port of Pittsburgh on December 5, 1956, and March 20, 1957, respectively. It was assessed with duty at 23y2 per centum ad valorem under paragraph 232(d) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as modified by the Sixth Protocol of Supplementary Concessions to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, T.D. 54108, as marble, wholly or partly manufactured into articles, not specially provided for.
