{¶ 1} Plaintiff-appellant, the state of Ohio, appeals from the order disbursing forfeiture proceeds in the Summit County Court of Common Pleas. This court reverses.

{¶2} On June 17, 2009, the trial court held a sentencing hearing at which Andrew Cruise pleaded guilty to several charges in his indictment, among those being heroin possession with a criminal-forfeiture specification under R.C. 2941.1417.
