This appeal challenges the power of the superior court to reverse an order of the Superintendent of the Division of Motor Vehicles of the Arizona Highway Department, which order revoked the driver’s license of the petitioner-appellee. This case originated in the superior court as a petition for writ of mandamus directed at the Superintendent. The order of revocation which is the subject of this petition was entered because the Highway Department had received a record of conviction of a charge of driving a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
