This action was instituted in the district court of Oklahoma county by James R. Armstrong and W. L. Murpliy, copartners, engaged in the practice of law under the firm name of Armstrong & Murphy, hereinafter referred to as plaintiffs, against O. S. Clark, hereinafter referred to as defendant, wherein plaintiffs sought to recover an attorney’s fee in the sum of $2,500 for legal services rendered to the Clark Pipe Line Company, a corporation, which plaintiffs alleged was controlled and dominated by the defendant, who owned a majority of the stock in said corporation.
