This case arises out of the claims of the plaintiff, John Mandala, (“Mandala” or the “plaintiff”) against the defendants alleging that he received inadequate medical attention and a high fiber diet while incarcerated at the Green Haven Correctional Facility (“GHCF”), a state operated prison, and the Nassau County Correctional Center (“NCCC”).
