ORDER DENYING PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION

This matter comes before the Court on plaintiffs motion for an order of preliminary injunction under trademark law directing that defendants be enjoined from using the “Playmakers” mark in association with them television series. (Dkt. No. 13) Specifically, plaintiff Playmakers, LLC brought this lawsuit against defendants ESPN, Inc., ABC Cable Networks Group and Orly Edelson Productions, alleging primarily that there is a likelihood of confusion between defendants’ use of the “Playmakers” mark in association with the television…
