ANNUNZIATA, Judge.
Following a jury trial, appellant, Antonio Hodges, was convicted of rape and armed burglary. To prove its case,, the Commonwealth relied largely on an apparent match between the rapist’s deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and that of appellant. The Commonwealth’s experts testified concerning the statistical probability that the apparent DNA match could have occurred at random.
