The defendant, Vincent P. Szynkowicz, appeals from the judgment of the trial court dissolving his marriage to the plaintiff, Christine M. Szynkowicz. The defendant claims that the court abused its discretion (1) in fashioning orders of support because the court (a) calculated alimony based on gross income, (b) ordered him to obtain life insurance without a factual basis to do so and (c) ordered him to provide impracticable financial support, (2) by awarding all of the parties’ real property to the plaintiff, (3) by ordering the defendant to pay the plaintiff $8000 in…
