I. INTRODUCTION
This is an action under sections 1631(c)(3) and 205(g) of the Social Security Act through which Kelly Peters (“Peters”) seeks judicial review of the final decision of the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (“Commissioner”) denying her Social Security disability (“SSDI”) benefits. Compl., ECF No. 1. Peters avers that the Administrative Law Judge (the “hearing officer”) did not base his denial of SSDI benefits on substantial evidence. Id. ¶ 9.
