This juvenile delinquency proceeding pursuant to article 7 of the Family Court Act raises two questions of first impression: (1) Does the respondent have a right to probation intake procedures and the possible adjustment of his charges after a petition against him has been filed? (2) Does the petitioner have a right to a hearing in a delinquency proceeding?
