This juvenile delinquency proceeding involves a designated felony pursuant to the Juvenile Justice Reform Act of 1976 (L 1976, ch 878; Family Ct Act, §§ 711-767). It presents a case of first impression for this court. Respondent, a boy of 15, allegedly committed a robbery in the first degree (Penal Law, § 160.15), a designated felony. (Family Ct Act, § 712, subd [h].)
