In this case the information charges that in Kiowa, county, August 29, 1925, Lewis Coleman “did then and there unlawfully, willfully, and wrongfully transport and convey intoxicating liquor, to wit, about one-half gallon of beer, from one place in Kiowa county to another place therein, to wit, from a point 1 mile west of the town of Roosevelt, on the section line, thence south, thence west, thence north, a distance of more than 2 miles.”

On trial by jury the defendant was convicted and punishment fixed at a fine of $200 and imprisonment in jail for 120 days. From the judgment entered in…
