The plaintiff in error herein was convicted in the county court of Ottawa county where she was charged with unlawful possession of intoxicating liquor. The jury returned a verdict of guilty, but not being able to agree upon the punishment, the court fixed a penalty of $100 fine and imprisonment in the county jail for thirty days. Appeal was perfected to this court on August 15, 1952.

No briefs have been filed by either the appellant or the state. We are required, nevertheless, to read the record for fundamental error.
