Forty-one plaintiffs brought twenty-six ■separate suits in forma pauperis before the Eighteenth Judicial District Court for the Parish of Pointe Coupee for the recovery •of damages allegedly sustained by them as the result of the acts of the defendants •(some of whom are relators herein) in .allegedly destroying and desecrating a burial ground in which plaintiffs claim to have an interest.
